Steven Glass, M.D. Joins Hassman Research Institute as Psychiatric Medical Director
BERLIN, NJ, April 23, 2019 — We are pleased to announce that Steven J. Glass, M.D. has joined Hassman Research Institute (HRI) as Psychiatric Medical Director.
Dr. Glass received his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Jefferson University) where he also completed his psychiatric residency and Chief Resident responsibilities. He comes to HRI from Intra-Cellular Therapies Inc. (ITCI) where he was a Senior Medical Director. Prior to ITCI, Dr. Glass was the Psychiatric Medical Director at PRA Health Sciences and before that at CRI Worldwide.
Dr. Glass has extensive knowledge of all phases of clinical research, with a strong background in CNS indications including schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, pain, and human abuse liability (HAL). He has 16 years of experience as a Principal Investigator (PI) conducting and overseeing early phase work in healthy normal subjects as well as both early and late phase protocols in diverse disease state subjects.
