Founded in 2000, Collaborative Neuroscience Research (CNS) has grown to become the largest clinical research provider in Southern California. CNS operates three outpatient clinics located in Long Beach, Garden Grove, and Torrance. Additionally, its Long Beach location features a 60-bed Clinical Pharmacology Unit (CPU) specially designed for early phase research as well as a purpose-built 16-bed Asian Studies unit to support global development for Japan, Korea, China. Primarily focused on trials in healthy subjects and patients with central nervous system disorders, CNS offers a wide spectrum of specialized services and capabilities including neuroimaging and electrophysiological assessments, driving simulation, and psychedelic-assisted therapy.
CNS Research has a long history of consistent subject recruitment and retention. With locations in ethnically diverse metropolitan areas, a subject database with over 90,000 individuals, and an experienced dedicated recruitment staff comprised of 20+ outreach and recruitment specialists, CNS is well-positioned to meet enrollment goals within timelines.

CNS Research’s Early Phase research facility is centrally located in the Los Angeles metropolitan market less than 1/4 mile from the Long Beach Airport.
